【(1) The AI Technology Utilized in the Product and the Various Applications】
Viscovery Visual Checkout solution is powered by the latest AI, Deep Learning, Computer Vision technologies. The Visual Checkout system allows a camera to automatically recognize multiple products to be checked out within 1 second, replacing the conventional and manual way to checkout—recognizing the products by human eyes or one-by-one scanning product barcodes.
Viscovery Visual Checkout solution could be utilized in various applications:

B. Convenience Stores, Micromarkets, Supermarkets (Packaged-Product Visual Checkout)
C. Staff/Student Canteens (Food Visual Checkout)

Viscovery Visual Checkout system is able to recognize products at an accuracy of over 99%, and the system can be deployed as self-checkout system or cashier-assisted checkout system.
For customers, Viscovery Visual Checkout system allows faster checkout and reduces large amount of time spent on queueing, enhancing shopping experience. For retailers, Viscovery Visual Checkout system helps generate more sales by effective checkout and satisfied happy customers.
【(2) About the Integration & Operation】
Viscovery Visual Checkout solution can be easily integrated with retailers' existing POS/ iPad POS/ Kiosk systems by merely adding a 1080P camera. In order to allow retailers to timely update product SKUs on their own, enhancing operational efficiency, Viscovery provides retailers with Product Management System, which requires only few images for the computer to learn a new product SKU.
【(3) About the Use Cases】
Currently, Viscovery has collaborated on the launch of the first AI-enabled Bakery Visual Checkout system in the U.S. with 85°C Bakery Café (self-checkout) and the first one in Taiwan with I JY SHENG (cashier-assisted checkout). The former one allows customers to check out bread by themselves while the latter assists cashiers to reduce approximately 80% checkout time, effectively solving the queueing problems in rush hours and enhancing customer shopping experience.
Viscovery Visual Checkout system has garnered much attention from numerous bakery chain stores in Taiwan, and is going to be massively deployed in the near future. For overseas markets, Viscovery has been collaborating with cake stores, canteens and micromarkets…etc, on the launch of cake, meal, packaged-product visual checkout system.
