thingnario is founded in 2017, and in the same year, our first product, PHOTON AI Powered PV O&M System, was launched at the end of 2017, combining monitoring, analysis, O&M and financial service into one single platform, completing a comprehensive solution for PV assets management.
PHOTON is designed to optimize the overall service structure of the software by researching the actual requirements of the industry and analyzing the operational characteristics of the practical experiences, demonstrating any kinds of monitoring features for all needs. Besides, PHOTON has implemented advanced AI technology to find fault problems. The system automatically learns from the massive data of every device, providing not only performance analysis and diagnosis, but also advises preventive maintenance through PHOTON’s work ticket management system, which increases the efficiency of maintenance work significantly.
PHOTON PV monitoring system has over 800 solar plants with a total capacity of more than 200MW all over the world and is currently growing at an average rate of 20% per month.
Main Products and Services
(1) PHOTON is an AI-powered PV monitoring and optimization platform with operation & maintenance ticketing system embedded. It is a cloud-based software service (SaaS). It sends smart notifications to mobile devices held by operators for notifying where to go and what to fix as detecting the abnormality from the numerous sensors in an intelligent and predictive manner. It also records all maintenance records in order to build an expert system, reducing the manpower required to manage distributed solar PV plants by at least 20%. The expert system, with machine learning capability, can be considered as an intelligent knowledge system to augment field application engineers to complete their workflow and SOP systematically.

2. Maintenance actions are all recorded by mobile devices and then used to train the intelligent PV expert system. Easily find maintenance history and material costs making IRR accurate.
3. PHOTON equips virtual irradiance estimation using satellite images and cutting- edge AI technology to predict irradiance at any geo-locations. PHOTON’s virtual irradiance is able to provide all plants with one solid benchmark as virtual PR for cross-site comparison and diagnosis.
